Two people are currently receiving medical treatment at the hospital after the vehicle they were travelling in got into an accident near Volivoli Village in Sigatoka this morning.
Divisional Police Commander West, SSP Iakobo Vaisewa, says the accident occurred around 1 this morning.
He says the truck coming from Nadi towards Sigatoka hit the side of the truck that was in the opposite lane, causing it to turn on its side.
Both drivers were taken to the Sigatoka Hospital, however, the driver of the truck coming from Nadi was transferred to the Lautoka Hospital.
Investigation into the incident continues.
