A few primary schools in Suva took part in the celebration this morning, marking the return of Vodafone Kaji Rugby after a lapse of five years.

During the launch ceremony, Vodafone's Chief Marketing Officer, Rajnesh Prasad says the Vodafone Kaji Rugby holds a special place in the hearts of all Fijians, as it focuses on the development of children and the future of rugby in Fiji.

He emphasised that developing grassroots rugby is crucial, especially at this level of competition, as it helps foster the growth of the sport. Prasad also added that Fijians consistently strive for excellence in everything they do and that sports has the power to shape the future of the nation’s youth.

Meanwhile, a total of 23,212 males and 11,210 female students have registered under the competition where they will represent 16 district across Fiji.
