Fiji Rugby Union and Vodafone have further strengthened and fortified their relationship with Vodafone today announcing an additional cash support of $100,000 towards the Vodafone Flying Fijians.

This cash contribution is a special incentive payment to the national 15’s side for the Rugby World Cup in England and is on top of the existing sponsorship arrangement between FRU and the consortium of sponsors.

Vodafone Fiji CEO, Pradeep Lal says they are passionate about the National Team doing well at the highest level of rugby competition.

Lal says they firmly believe that the Vodafone Flying Fijians have what it takes to cause a few upsets at this year’s world cup.

The payment of $100,000 will be made to FRU before the team’s opening match against England.
