Vodafone ATH Fiji Foundation gives $46,000 grant to eight organizations

Eight World of Difference candidates and charity partners have received a total of $46,000 in grants as part of the Vodafone ATH Fiji Foundation’s initiatives in the Central Division.

The organizations include Ovalau Volleyball Association that received $3,000, Nabuli Womens Club $2,500, Tailevu Provincial Youth Club $5,000, Capacity Building and Storytelling Fiji $15,500, Vuable Catering $2,500, Lifeline Fiji $5,000, Save Fiji $7,500 and Philanthropy Pacific $5,000.

Vodafone Fiji Board Chairperson Kalpana Lal says the grants have been extended to organizations who are making a difference in the lives of Fijians across the country.

Lal says the foundation focuses on multiple community initiatives including World of Difference, Disaster Relief and Community Development Projects.

Since the establishment of the Vodafone ATH Fiji Foundation in 2004, it has invested over $30 million in community projects and initiatives.
