Viti FM at Fiji Showcase delights with laughter and live performances

It was a night of fun and laughter for those who attended Fiji Showcase, as the Viti FM crew entertained the crowd with their hilarious jokes on the Vodafone external stage last night.

The Viti FM crew, including radio personalities Maikeli Radua, Demesi Kakaya, and Mikaele Qalobula, were joined by social media personality Roks “Ouch Mama” Nabuta.

Radua, Kakaya, and Qalobula, who are part of the Viti FM Dredre Ga Mo Cegu Crew, delivered jokes that had the crowd roaring with laughter.

Voqa Ni Delai Dokidoki also performed on stage, evoking nostalgia for many attendees.

Setaita Leba from Grantham Road in Suva says she enjoyed the entertainment, especially Ouch Mama's live performance.

She says she came with friends to take advantage of the affordable prices and enjoy the food.

Tomasi Raiyasi, accompanied by his two daughters, says he came see Voqa Ni Delai Dokidoki, whose songs he grew up listening to.

He says he loved the entertainment by the Viti FM team and listening to Dokidoki brought back some old memories.

Raiyasi adds he plans to return later in the week for shopping due to the affordable prices.

Programs lined up for today, on the Vodafone Entertainment External Stage, Manava Duo will perform from 1pm to 1.30pm, Mr.Mr will take center stage from 1.30pm to 2pm, and Paw Patrol Mascots will perform from 4pm to 4.30pm.

Later in the evening, Mr.Mr will return to the stage from 7pm to 7.30pm, followed by local group Leba Boi Yawa E Lomai Nasau from 7.30pm to 7.45pm.

From 7.45pm to 8pm, the Viti FM Ouch Buiniga Competition will take place, followed by another performance by Leba Boi Yawa E Lomai Nasau from 8pm to 8.30pm.

On the Goodman Fielder Entertainment Internal Stage, Piva, the Brazilian magician and juggler, will perform from 3.30pm to 4pm, with a second performance scheduled from 6.30pm to 7pm.

The gates will open at midday today for day 5 of Fiji Showcase 2024.

Tickets are $4 for adults and $3 for children under 12.
