Village Boys have been crowned the 2025 Fiji Bitter Yalovata 7s champions after edging Kava Vacalea 15-12 in a thrilling final this afternoon.

Village Boys struck first to take an early 5-0 lead, but Vacalea replied minutes later to level the match 5-all.

Vacalea appeared to have scored again just before halftime, but the try was disallowed after review, leaving the teams locked 5-all at the break.

Village Boys came out firing in the second spell, applying pressure and scoring two unanswered tries to extend their lead to 15-5.

Vacalea fought back with a late unconverted try, narrowing the score to 15-12, but time ran out on their comeback.

In other results, Axellerate Aflame Brothers claimed the U21 title after defeating Bureta 17-12, while Sinukakala were crowned women’s champions after beating Tagimoucia Ranadi 20-5.
