Vendors wrap up after Ba market floods following heavy rain

Vendors in Ba market are wrapping up their stalls as floodwaters rise following heavy rain this morning.

While speaking to fijivillage News, Ajeshnal Kumar from Wailailai, Ba says the rain began at 6.30am today, following light drizzling earlier.

He says the weather has changed a bit now, with no further rain in that area.

Kumar says the water has entered the market and vendors are now wrapping up.

Meanwhile, we have contacted Allied Bus Service in Ba, who confirms that their buses are still operational despite the flooding.
