Vashist Muni Sea Eagles qualifies for FSSRL U17 quarter-finals

The Vashist Muni College Sea Eagles U17 has qualified for the Vodafone Fiji Secondary School Rugby League U17 national quarter-finals after just two years of participation in the competition.

The side defeated John Wesley Saints 8-6 in a tough encounter to secure their place and made history for the school.

In other matches, Marist Storms thrashed Naiyala Dragons 40-2, Shreedhar Sharks beat Rt Latinara Cowboys 6-4 while Sila Tigers edged CMF Eagles 6-4.

The national quarter finals will be held this Saturday at the Nukuvuto Grounds in QVS.

In the U17 quarter finals, Shreedhar Sharks will face Nasinu Panthers, Marist Storm will take on Sila Tigers, QVS Knights will play Sangam Titans and Lelean Bati will face Vashist Muni Sea Eagles.

In the U15 quarter finals, Sila Tigers will face Nabua Broncos, QVS Knights will play Shreedhar Sharks, Lelean Bati will face MGM Raiders and Sukuna Broncos will take on Nasinu Panthers.

In the U19 grade, Bua Eagles will face RKS Eels and QVS Knights will take on John Wesley Saints at.
