The HSBC Vancouver and the Los Angeles 7s have been rescheduled due to the continuing effects of the COVID-19 pandemic around the globe.

According to World Rugby, the Canada 7s will now take place on 16th and 17th April 2022.

The Los Angeles 7s moves from the 5th and 6th of March to the 27th and 28th of August and will stage the grand finale of the Men’s Series.

World Rugby says the events have been rescheduled due to the continuing and dynamic effects of the global COVID-19 pandemic and associated logistical challenges, and to maximise the impact and enjoyment of the events for players, fans, staff and wider society.

Meanwhile, the Fiji Men’s and Women’s 7s teams will not be participating in the Malaga and Seville 7s in Spain due to the spread of COVID-19 within the team.

The Malaga 7s starts at 8 tonight with Russian women’s team facing Brazil.
