Vodafone Premier League leaders Rewa are likely to go into the Punjas Battle of the Giants Tournament without a sponsor.

Coach Marika Rodu says accommodation for the first week alone will cost them $8000 and no one has come out to support them so far but the executives are working hard to ensure that they go into the tournament well prepared despite the challenges.

Rodu says their position in the VPL points table does not mean that they will be heading into the tournament as favourites.

Rodu adds that they are expecting to play a few warm up matches to ensure they are better prepared.

Rewa takes on hosts Lautoka at 6.30pm next Friday.

In other matches on day 1, Nadi will play Navua at 12pm, Labasa play Suva at 2pm while Ba battles Nasinu at 4pm.

The pool matches will be played from next Friday to Sunday at Churchill Park while the semi-finals and final will be played a week later at the same venue.
