Under 19 defending champions Tilak High suffer 2-1 defeat to Vunimono High in Football Championship

Defending champions Tilak High School has suffered a 2-1 defeat to Vunimono High School in a competitive Under-19 match of the Extra Supermarket Fiji Secondary Schools Football Championship Association 2025, held at the Fiji Football Academy Ground in Ba.

Tilak led 1-0 at halftime, but Vunimono came back strong in the second half with two goals to secure the victory.

Despite Tilak’s efforts to equalize, Vunimono held on to claim the win.

In other Under-19 matches, Seaqaqa Central College edged out Ba Sangam College 2-1, while Tavua College secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Kamil Muslim College.

Labasa Muslim College defeated Vunimono High School 1-0 in the Under-15 category.

Meanwhile, a total of 104 games will be played over four days across six different playing grounds, with 56 teams participating.

The finals will be held on Saturday at Govind Park.
