Fiji is the go-to destination for Australian couple Robin Cooper and her husband, who arrived in Suva this morning via the USD$1 billion-dollar cruise ship, Celebrity Edge with more than a thousand visitors.

Cooper says Fiji is a relaxing getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and work.

This was their fourth trip to Fiji, and it keeps getting better for them, especially meeting people who make them feel at home.

She says the people are fantastic, and her previous visits included two land stays at the Coral Coast.

Cooper is encouraging tourists from around the world to include Fiji in their bucket list of tours because of its beauty and cost factor.

The ship has 29 restaurants,1512 rooms and it is based in France and but owned by an American Company,it left Australia to come to Fiji today.

The Celebrity Edge was the first Celebrity ship to be equipped with what the cruise line dubs the "Magic Carpet," a tangerine glass-sheltered platform that protrudes and is suspended from the starboard side of the vessel.

It was designed to facilitate more accessible tender embarkation and disembarkation.

For modern adventurers, travel is not a spectator sport it is about being fully immersed in new destinations and cultures without sacrificing comfort and style.

The ship has brilliant innovations give you open air access to the sea, whenever you wish and the latest technology lets you precisely adjust nearly every comfort feature in your stateroom, suite or villa.

It also has re-imagined spaces feature larger living areas, bigger bathrooms, and a king-size bed in 99% of their rooms,an industry first for premium cruise lines.

The Celebrity Edge has a capacity of 2,918 passengers and will travel to Lautoka tomorrow.
