Digicel Junior Bula Boys player Pawan Singh who punched an Indonesian player during an international friendly match last night is being sent home on the next available flight.

The Fiji Football Association says they are disappointed about the national U-20 team's indiscipline in the match.

Fiji FA says further disciplinary action will be taken against Singh.

They say the team management has been directed to work on the discipline of the team, both on and off the field in preparation for the next match and onwards.

Fiji FA has also apologised to the Indonesia team management, players and fans at large from both countries for what happened in the match and has assured that appropriate action is being taken.

Fiji FA President Rajesh Patel says they do not condone such behaviour from the national players in the team.

Patel adds they will come down hard on players bringing disrepute to football and the country.

Meanwhile, Fiji will take on Guatemala in Indonesia at 4.30pm tomorrow.
