Patients at Ba and Lautoka Hospital will benefit from Aspen Medical’s latest addition of two new ambulances.

These advanced Toyota Land Cruiser Military models equipped with essential medical tools and built to high safety standards, will make the journey smoother and safer for the patients.

Chief Operations Officer Barry Herberts says the ambulances conform to Australian Standards and both units come with a full range of medical equipment that is needed on the road during emergencies.

Herberts says while they have brought in new ambulance services, the team will continue to work closely with the other service providers to cater to the needs of the patients.

He adds a total of 1,065 patients have been transferred between the hospitals in the first half of this year.
