Two men aged 18 and 22 years old will appear in the Rakiraki Magistrates Court today after they allegedly featured in a TikTok video wearing police uniforms.
Police say the two were seen in the video wearing the police uniforms belonging to a relative who is a police officer.
The men are residing with the police officer and it is alleged that they unlawfully wore the officer’s uniform while he was at work.
They have been charged with a count each of wearing of uniform without authority.
