Two men have been arrested after drug raids conducted by Police resulted in the seizure of illicit drugs believed to be marijuana.
Police say a raid was conducted at the home belonging to a 25 year old man in Vatiyaka, Ba yesterday resulted in the seizure of 6 pot plants believed to be marijuana.
Meanwhile, a vehicle driven by a 47 year old mechanic was stopped and searched at a snap checkpoint along Kings Road yesterday where bullets of dried leaves believed to be marijuana was discovered inside his vehicle.
The arrests were successfully made following information from members of the public.
Both suspects remain in custody as the drugs have been sent for analysis.
