Two people escaped death after both their vehicles were involved in an accident outside the Cuvu Community Police Post in Sigatoka.
Police say it is believed that the driver of a gas vehicle lost control and veered off the road, hitting another on-coming vehicle from the opposite lane.
They say there were no serious injuries to the drivers.
Investigations continue on the cause of the accident.
