Two children, aged 8 and 10, have been killed, and 17 other people are injured following a school shooting in Minneapolis.
Police say the attack happened during morning Mass at Annunciation Catholic School.
They say the gunman was armed with a rifle, shotgun, and pistol and shot through the church windows, adding that he then turned a gun on himself.
Police Chief Brian O'Hara calls it a "deliberate act of violence against children and worshipers."
Of those injured, 14 are children, and two are in a critical condition.
