Two charged for allegedly murdering a 20-year-old man in Tovata

A 42-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman have been charged for the alleged murder of a 20-year-old man in Tovata.

The 20-year-old was allegedly assaulted by the two on the 29th of May and was later admitted in a critical condition at the CWM Hospital and passed away on the 2nd of July.

The two accused persons have been produced in the Nasinu Magistrates Court and are both remanded.

The 42-year-old man was remanded in custody till the 10th of July, while the woman will be remanded at the Suva Women Remand Centre until the 14th of July.
