Two Police officers facing aggravated robbery charges plead not guilty

Two Police officers who are charged with aggravated robbery have pleaded not guilty to the charge in the Suva High Court.

It is alleged that Karim Begg and Roneel Ravinesh Chand on 24th March stole $500 cash from a Chinese national and before stealing the money, threatened to use force on the victim.

The alleged incident happened in the Sigatoka Valley.

Their bail has been extended and the case has been adjourned to the 3rd of August.
