Tuwai and Nagasau return for Fiji 7s duties

Two-time Olympic gold medallist, Jerry Tuwai will feature for the Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s side in the HSBC Hamilton and Sydney 7s this month.

The team was announced this afternoon by Head Coach Ben Gollings before the men’s final of the McDonald’s Fiji Coral Coast 7s.

Other players that have been named includes Josua Vakurunabili, Jerry Matana, Sevuloni Mocenacagi, Josevani Soro, Filipe Sauturaga, Iowane Teba, Pilipo Bukayaro, Manueli Maisamoa, Viuviawa Naduvalo, Alosio Naduva, and Josese Batirerega.

Meanwhile, Rusila Nagasau returns to the Fijiana 7s line-up after being named in the final 13-member for the HSBC Hamilton and Sydney 7s.

Other players include Talei Wilson, Iva mere Nabura, Vani Buleki, Raijeli Daveua, Reapi Uluinisau, Lavena Cavuru, Ana Maria Naimasi, Ilisapeci Delaiwau, Viniana Riwai, Younis Bese, Vasiti Solikoviti and Maria Rokotuisiga.

The Hamilton 7s will be held next Saturday and Sunday, while the Sydney 7s will be held the following week.
