Three students from Tuvu Primary School have been praised for their honesty after returning a lost mobile phone belonging to a FICAC officer.
The Senior Education and Anti-Corruption Officer at FICAC Inoke Drawe, acknowledged the students — Vilimaina, Eta, and Tui — on social media for choosing to do the right thing and ensuring the phone was returned safely.
He said he had accidentally left his phone at a local store while returning from Ba.
Drawe commended the students’ actions as a powerful example of honesty and integrity — values that FICAC continues to promote across the country.
He said their actions were a true reflection of the values we should all strive to uphold — even when no one is watching.
Drawe also extended his appreciation to the students and encouraged others to follow their example in choosing what’s right.
