Ratu Kinijoji Rayacarogo George Cama, commonly known as Tukini Cama, will be missed by many as he is a person who can make other people happy and bring joy and energy to the room.

This is how the Head of the Catholic Church in Fiji, Archbishop Peter Loy Chong remembers Tukini Cama as he used to host his Grace during their show on Katolika TV.

While speaking at Tukini Cama's Resurrection Mass at the St Vincent De Paul Church in Nausori, Archbishop Chong said the personality Tukini Cama has is one that a lot of people in show business look for as he is a person who communicates better with people.

He says his presence could be felt in the room he is in and he always brings joy to people around him.

He adds that his voice captured his audience's imagination, especially, the listeners of FM96.

Representing the family, Tukuni Cama's niece, Ro Miriama Cama Korovusere, said hearing the news of their uncle being taken to the hospital was devastating and hard for them.

She says her uncle was a very energetic person, and they would always call him a walking archive because of the stories he could tell.

Tukini Cama attended Stella Maris Primary School and briefly attended St.John’s College, Cawaci in Ovalau, before completing his secondary education at Marist Brothers High School.

He started his career with Westpac Bank before joining FM96.

Tukini then contributed and often volunteered to many causes including the work of the Archdiocese of Suva, assisting with communications for SODELPA and was host of the talk show Current Affairs on Mai TV.

The Post-Burial Gathering was held at the Nausori Parish Hall.

Attending the funeral mass was the Marama Na Roko Tui Dreketi Ro Teimumu Kepa, SODELPA General Secretary Viliame Takayawa, former SODELPA MP Niko Nawaikula, SODELPA members, Communications Fiji Limited General Manager Charles Taylor, work colleagues, friends and family.
