Tropik Wood renews partnership with Fijian Drua for three more years

Tropik Wood renews partnership with Fijian Drua for three more years

Tropik Wood Industries Limited has renewed its sponsorship of the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua for another three years, reinforcing its commitment to local communities, sustainability, and Fijian rugby.

Tropik Wood, a wholly owned subsidiary of Fiji Pine Limited, is the country’s largest forest company and a key player in supporting landowners and the local economy through sustainable forestry.

The Fijian Drua says the renewed agreement reflects Tropik Wood’s support for the development of homegrown rugby talent through its continued sponsorship of the Drua Men’s and Women’s teams.

Fiji Pine Group Executive Chairman Ratu Rakuita Vakalalabure says they are proud to continue the partnership.

He says this enduring relationship reflects Tropik Wood’s strong commitment to supporting our local communities and investing in initiatives that empower Fijians.

He adds that rugby is deeply rooted in Fiji’s identity, and supporting the Drua aligns with Tropik Wood’s values of teamwork, resilience, and excellence.

Fijian Drua General Manager Commercial Shane Hussein says they are honoured to continue working with such a vital national institution.

Hussein says Tropik Wood and the Fiji Pine Group play a critical role in Fiji’s economy through exports, sustainable leasing and empowering the vanua.

He adds the sponsorship will ensure Tropik Wood maintains a strong brand presence, including in-goal signage during Drua Men’s home games and branding on the shorts of the Drua Women’s team.

Hussein says this partnership will showcase the Tropik Wood brand not just in Fiji, but across global broadcast markets including Australia, New Zealand, the United States and Japan.
