Legal practice is not for the faint-hearted – AG

Triton Law Firm has opened in Savusavu which aims to provide greater access to legal services and the justice system to the community.

While speaking at the opening, Attorney General Graham Leung says the firm promotes access to justice and empowerment of the people.

He says legal practice is not for the faint-hearted, it requires many hours of dedication, hard work, sacrifice and staying away from family as well.

The Attorney General says it’s important that people have access to competent, efficient lawyers of integrity as the Northern Division is home to ten law firms operating, supported by around 32 lawyers.

He says the demand for legal services continues to grow, and access to quality legal representation remains a challenge for those living in the maritime and rural areas.

Leung says he is confident that with Triton establishing an office, people will have access to a confident firm of solicitors who are able to assist in every aspect of their personal or business lives.
