Trial of Nouzab Fareed to start on 1st December

The trial of former Fijian Holdings Limited CEO Nouzab Fareed will start from the 1st of December before Chief Magistrate Usaia Ratuvili.

Fareed is facing 3 counts of indecent assault.

There are two complainants in the case.

One of the complainants is in South Korea and if she is not able to attend the trial, the prosecution will make an application for video link evidence.

The other complainant is in Fiji.

The alleged incidents happened between May and September last year.

Fareed’s bail has been extended.
