Fiji Labour Party Leader, Mahendra Chaudhry says what we are witnessing today is the total breakdown of leadership under Prime Minister, Sitiveni Rabuka.
Chaudhry says the FLP notes with deep concern the ongoing political and institutional chaos gripping the Coalition Government.
He says within the span of just weeks, two Deputy Prime Ministers and key ministers Manoa Kamikamica and Biman Prasad —have been charged by FICAC.
Chaudhry says instead of confronting the crisis head-on, the Prime Minister has chosen to downplay the gravity of the situation, pretending that everything remains “under control.”
The FLP Leader says the truth is quite the opposite as the Coalition is collapsing under the weight of its own hypocrisy, infighting, and betrayal.
He adds the People’s Alliance Party is in disarray, and alliances are shifting daily, and trust in leadership has all but evaporated.
Chaudhry says what we see today is not a stable government but a fractured coalition clinging to power, drowning in scandal.
He says the time for excuses is over as Fiji needs renewal, not recycled politics.
