Top athletes Banuve Tabakaucoro and Eugene Vollmer are expected to feature in the Fiji National Athletics Championships which has been sanctioned by World Athletics as an Olympic Games Qualification Event.
Athletics Fiji says the pair will be aiming to qualify for the Tokyo Olympics.
They say the event will also serve as a good build up for athletes that will be participating in the Coca-Cola Games.
The Fiji National Athletics Championships will be held on Friday and Saturday at the ANZ Stadium.
