The top two teams on the Fiji Bitter 7s Series, Lavidi Brothers and Wardens have confirmed their participation in the 16th Fiji Bitter Savusavu 7s.

The Savusavu 7s will be held from the 30th of January to the 1st of February 2025 at Ratu Ganilau Park in Savusavu.

Gaunavou Rugby Club President, Pita Ralaca, says this is an opportunity for grassroots players and clubs, not only in Cakaudrove but across Vanua Levu, to showcase their talent and prove themselves against these top teams.

Ralaca adds that they are looking forward to seeing more local players and teams come to Savusavu for the tournament where they will compete against the best.

The Savuiqali men's team and Vuna Brothers have also confirmed their participation.

The tournament will feature 36 men's teams battling for the $10,000 prize money in the main cup competition, while 16 U18-U21 teams will compete for the $2,000 prize.

Additionally, eight women's teams will vie for the $1,000 prize money.

Tournament organisers have confirmed that spots are still available.

Teams wishing to register can contact Pita Ralaca at 9822190 or 7525373.
