To’o scores a hattrick to put Panthers in fourth consecutive grand final

Brian To'o scored a hattrick to assist the Penrith Panthers secure a fourth consecutive grand final after demolishing the Melbourne Storm 38-4 in last night’s preliminary final.

Fiji Bati winger Sunia Turuva, Nathan Cleary and Dylan Edwards scored a try each.

The 34-point margin signalled the biggest win by a team in a preliminary final in the NRL era and sounded an ominous warning ahead of their tilt at history next week.

The Panthers now await the winner of the second preliminary final between the Broncos and Warriors at 9.50 tonight.
