Minister for Defence and Veteran Affairs, Pio Tikoduadua has met the Defence Minister for India, Rajnath Singh in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
In a Facebook post, Tikoduadua says it was wonderful to meet India’s Minister for Defence as they discussed Fiji and India’s long and familial relationship.
He says they have further discussed continued cooperation as defence partners in areas of peacekeeping, maritime surveillance and education opportunities for Fiji’s military and civilian defence personnel.
