Once a hobby, it has now turned into a business for 25-year-old Tiare Kumar, who continues to focus on growing her handmade jewellery business known as ‘Beautiful Mess’.

Kumar says during the COVID-19 pandemic she had nothing to do and she always fantasised about wearing earrings and when she couldn’t go out she decided to do it herself.

The 25-year-old says she is a very creative person and wants people to see her creativity as what she can do as an artisan.

The Beautiful Mess Founder says she sells her products through online sales and during Market Days earning about $200 a day and also conducts classes every month for those who want to learn.

Kumar says her mother supports her and also encourages her to continue with her passion.

She says her next step is to open her physical store and grow her business.
