Behind the defending Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific Blues side is the glue that holds them together, kava, and also Tia their resident mixer.

Tia, who is a barber by profession is where the boys go to for rekavary, after he was invited by Hoskins Sotutu a year ago.

The Nakelo, Tailevu man is the one responsible for the boys deadly haircuts and making sure that they are looking fresh.

He met up with Sotutu over five years ago at his barber shop and they instantly clicked.

Tia also played in the under 14 and under 16 with Blues centre Rieko Ioane, so they have known each other longer, with Ioane saying Tia is a big part of their group.

The Blues kava sessions that Tia is in includes flyhalf Stephen Perofeta, winger Mark Tele’a, Sotutu, Ioane and prop PJ Sheck, who say that Tia brings something different to the club and how kava connects the boys in a game week.
