Thousands of residents in the greater Nasinu and Nakasi area will be experiencing power outage from 7.30am to 5pm tomorrow

If you live in parts of the greater Nasinu and Nakasi area, you will be experiencing a power outage from 7.30am to 5pm tomorrow.

Energy Fiji Limited say these areas include parts of Ratu Dovi Road from Soqe Place to Yasiyasi Junction, Kabote Street, parts of Reba Circle, Narere Road, Laqere, Muanikoso Housing, Muanikoso Squatter Settlement, Police Mobile Unit in Narere, Manuluva Circle, Vatukoula Place, part of Kings Road from Muanikoso Road to the Total Service Station in Makoi, from Sasawira Road Junction to Kabi Place Junction, Wainubuku Subdivision, Nakasi Road, Ivi Place, Dilo Street, Baka Place, Kauvula Street, Kaisau Street, Nasinu Abattoir, Adi Lady Davila Ganilau Road, the new Nakasi Health Centre, Nakasi Fire Station, RB South Point, MH and New World.

EFL says this is a planned power shutdown which is scheduled for the areas so that urgent power line maintenance can be carried out to ensure safety and security of power supply in the long term.

The other areas that will be experiencing partial outage include Navosai Road, Nukunuku Drive, Vatoa Road, Beaumont Road, FNTC Road, Makewa Lane, Tiko Place, Saku Place, Balolo Street, Laws Place, Kelland Road, Narere Police Post, Rups Mega Complex Nakasi and the Wainibuku Pumping Station.

EFL has also confirmed that areas from Vunisamaloa to Naruku, Vatusui in Ba will also be facing power outages from 9am to 4.30pm tomorrow.
