Thousands of people living in the upper Samabula and nearby areas, Lami areas, Dokanaisuva, Colo-i-Suva, Sakoca, Upper Khalsa and nearby areas, Princes Road and Nailuva Rd have been experiencing water cuts from early this morning.

The Water Authority of Fiji says this is due to low water production level at their Tamavua Water Treatment Plant after disruptions to the Waimanu Raw Water Pump.

They say their teams are working towards rectifying the issue as soon as possible.

No time frame is given on when supply will normalise.

It further says they are providing water carting and people can call them on 5777 if they require water carting.
