Thousands of people living in parts of Ba are currently experiencing water disruptions due to blockages caused by the recent flooding.

The Water Authority of Fiji confirms that their dam and temporary pump cannot operate which is resulting in low production levels.

WAF says people living in the elevated areas will experience low pressure to no water supply until further notice.

Areas affected include Kumkum, Moto Top, Tabataba, Tarivo Top, Maururu, Tauvegavega, Vutuni, Mia Majan Road, Varoko, Sarava Top, Navau, Field 27, Etatoko Top, Khalsa Road, Vatiyaka Top and Varavu Top.

WAF adds there is no time frame as to when water supply will normalise.
