Thousands celebrate Holi at Navtarang and Radio Sargam Rang Barse Stage Show

Thousands of people celebrated Holi in a big way with their favourite Navtarang and Radio Sargam personalities at their Rang Barse Stage Show at the Rups Mega Complex in Nakasi today.

The show is sponsored by Rups, Apco Paints, Ram Sami and Sons and Digicel "Shake N Win".

Eight people also participated in the Rang Birangi Mithaiya competition which was sponsored by Golden Harvest.

Khushboo Chand of Navua who is a student at Fiji National University won first prize.

Subra Habib from 9 miles won the second prize while Sheetal Sharma from Labasa won the third prize.

Sharma travelled all the way from Labasa yesterday to watch the show.

All 3 winners were given an android mobile phone each and Golden Harvest hampers.

Six other participants were also given Golden Harvest hampers.

Participants were required to send their colourful recipes with a Golden Harvest wrapper or packet to enter the competition to win prizes.

Participants were judged on how creative and unique their recipes were.

Apart from the 5 to 6 Masala Mix team, there were other groups that entertained the crowd.

They were the Rewa Naari Sabha which is a ladies mandali from Rewa, Shalen Saqamoli and Group from Nadi, Amit Kumar Dolly and Group from Lautoka, Soni and Team as the Yuva Dance Group.
