United Aparal vaccination site in Nadawa

People in the greater Nadera, Nadawa and Laqere areas are still turning-up to get vaccinated today.

It is the third day of the vaccine rollout in these areas this week.

We saw people following the COVID-safe protocols such as wearing a mask and social distancing while lining up at the United Apparel Fiji Limited factory in Nadawa and Laqere Market.

Vaccination sites are open till 4.30 this afternoon.

This is for the first dose of the vaccine.

Vaccination is only available to the people living in the listed areas today and people from other areas and communities should wait for the vaccination team to visit their area.

If you are over 18 and want to be vaccinated, please present your valid photo identification e.g. Joint FNPF/FRCA, driver’s license, passport, student ID or FNPF card to register for vaccination.

If you have registered, please be ready with your registration reference number and valid photo identification.

You will need to get two doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine.

The date for your second dose will be put in the vaccination card after your first dose.
