Think safety and security when leaving your home – Acting COMPOL

Acting Commissioner of Police, Juki Fong Chew

Police are urging members of the public to pre-plan their travels during this festive season and always think of safety and security when leaving their homes.

While responding to the high number of break-ins and burglaries that have occurred in recent weeks, the Acting Commissioner of Police, Juki Fong Chew says when people leave their homes, they should think of safety and security, and also be responsible individuals.

He says people should always have a good relationship with their neighbours as well because when they leave their homes, their neighbours can look after their homes.

He adds this also helps in their work.

The Acting Commissioner says that he has advised his officers to continue with their Operation Spirit until the start of the next school year.
