Fiji-born Wallabies player Filipo Daugunu is looking forward to their back-to-back Rugby Championship clash with the Pumas and says they understand that they are going to be a tough team to beat.

Daugunu was flown into the Wallabies squad in Cape Town following significant injuries to several key players, but it seems the stage is set for a triumphant return in gold.

After a strong return to the jersey in 2024, Daugunu picked up a red card against Georgia, before being forced off early in last year’s Rugby Championship opener against South Africa.

The 30-year-old says for them as a group, they are going to prepare really well and look forward to the game.

He says they need to prepare themselves well because they saw last week how they beat New Zealand and the Lions.

The Wallabies will host Argentina at 4.30pm Saturday at Queensland Country Bank Stadium.

Meanwhile, the All Blacks will meet South Africa at 7.05pm Saturday at Eden Park.
