Blues rising star Caleb Clarke says there is no fear in the Blues side when they take on three-time Super Rugby champions the Crusaders in the Super Rugby Aotearoa on Saturday.

The 21-year-old says this Saturday will be a North versus the South and they are keen to get in the field and get the job done.

Clarke says they are confident with their game right now, they have been doing well and it is going to be a good competition out on the field.

He adds they respect the Crusaders but there is no fear taking them on this week.

The Blues will almost certainly retain their incumbent trio of Clarke, Mark Telea and Beauden Barrett at fullback who will likely go up against Will Jordan, Sevu Reece and George Bridge, with David Havili.

The Blues will take on the Crusaders at 7.05pm Saturday while the Highlanders will face the Hurricanes at 3.35pm Sunday.
