From starting off at a kiosk at the Suva Market selling tea, fried fish and cassava, Zamzam Restaurant Director Rashida Dean has not looked back since, growing from strength to strength.

Dean is opening a new Middle Eastern and Pizza wing at her restaurant which will not only offer a new menu but a different dining experience as well to tantalise the taste buds.

Many people are already talking about the unique look of the new restaurant in Samabula.

She says they will have overseas chefs, bringing something different such as kebabs, pizzas as well as other delicacies.

The Zamzam Director says she currently has 20 staff but with the opening of the new wing they are looking to hire at least 15 more.

She says she has always had a passion for cooking since she was young.

Dean says she has noticed a lot of tourists coming to her restaurant after renowned food vlogger Mark Wiens filmed a segment there last year.

Dean says her children are her world, and everything she does is for them.

The new wing had a soft launch last night before the opening to the public from today.
