Assistant Minister for Women and Children Veena Bhatnagar

Assistant Minister for Women and Children Veena Bhatnagar has hit out at NFP’s Parmod Chand for criticizing ministers meeting people who are facing difficulties and need assistance.

Speaking during the budget debate, Bhatnagar says the budget is an inclusive one that caters for the people living in poverty, the elderly, people living with disabilities, women and children and disaster victims.

She adds that Parmod Chand makes the craziest statements regarding why the government has to go to the ground to serve people.
