Unity Fiji Leader, Savenaca Narube says the FijiFirst government is correct when they say land and resource ownership is protected under the constitution but they are not telling the people that they themselves have removed the control of the natural resources.

While speaking at a rally in Nausori, Narube says people have asked him why Unity Fiji will re-establish the Great Council of Chiefs, to which he says why not.

He asks why did Voreqe Bainimarama insult the chiefs by saying that they should go and drink home brew under the mango tree.

He says they will reverse all the laws that have removed the control of natural resources.

Narube also says the land needs to be looked at as a resource, but they are looking at land in terms of ownership and tenants.
