Acting Commissioner of Police Juki Fong Chew

Acting Commissioner of Police Juki Fong Chew has highlighted that the Fiji Police Force is an organisation that encourages equality and equity.

While speaking at the Pacific Faculty of Policing International Women’s Day Leadership Workshop at Holiday Inn this morning, Chew says women have excelled and set benchmarks in the Force that does not only challenge the notion of being a male-dominated organisation but has redefined the term completely.

He says the Pacific Faculty of Policing is supporting the participation and representation of Pacific women in policing with the support of institutions such as the Pacific Islands Chiefs of Policing Women’s Advisory Network.

He adds the senior hierarchy is committed to the spirit of ensuring equity in the workplace.
