Legend FM’s Daddy Detective with Drypers Wee Wee Dry Competition winner, Ashna Prasad says the Father’s Day $250 prize money will go a long way especially because of the challenges she and her family are facing.

The Legalega, Nadi resident says her husband who is a carpenter by profession is unemployed right now and they are in the middle of constructing their home.

Prasad says survival is difficult but they are receiving assistance from their close families and friends.

She says the money will also be used to buy construction material for their home.

Prasad further says she will be celebrating Father’s Day with their 5 and 6-year-old children.

She has also highlighted there are about 7 other families in Legalega, Nadi who are struggling to make ends meet.

Prasad says some of them have started farming while others are relying on assistance and are still looking for employment.
