Thank you for helping Janifa Bibi and her 2 daughters

A big thank you to listeners and followers of Communications Fiji Limited, the parent company of Legend FM, FM96, Viti FM, Navtarang, Radio Sargam and fijivillage.com who contributed towards the one day appeal for 37-year-old Janifa Bibi and her two daughters.

We handed over $8,500 to Bibi today and we will also work with her to ensure the building materials are provided and the Republic of Fiji Military Forces will provide the manpower to fix and complete the home for Bibi and her daughters aged 17 and 6 years.

A foundation that does not want to be identified will provide the list of building materials needed by the RFMF by Monday. The engineers have already started renovation works to the current structure as we await the list and the delivery of the materials.

CK’s Ezy Buy has also confirmed that they will provide all school items including uniforms, sandals, stationery and bags for Janifa’s daughters.

We will also work with Janifa to ensure that the project is completed and she has a safe and secure home as expected by everyone who donated towards this worthy cause.

We have also received a call from a concerned business person who runs a clothing outlet, and they have offered a job to Janifa. Legend FM News has spoken to Janifa and she says she wants to start working to continue to provide the best for her two daughters from January next year.

Senior Content Director, Satya Nand has also thanked the listeners and says this is a joyous occasion for the family.

RFMF Engineers Unit’s Major Isireli Cataka says they have started their work and want to complete the home as soon as possible.
