Wallabies and Brumbies star Tevita Kuridrani has donated about AUS$1,500 for the Vatulele TC Harold Appeal to assist people who have been severely affected by the cyclone.

Kuridrani’s dad Inosi Kuridrani started the appeal to assist people who have been severely affected.

Kuridrani says all four villages on the island were badly affected in the cyclone and majority of the houses suffered extensive damages.

He says people are in need of food and clean drinking because of the damage to the infrastructure.

He adds they have managed to supply essential food items such as biscuits, sugar, onion, milk and flour, 9 cartons of drinking water and clothing but they need more support.

He also says four or five families are now living in one house because of the severe damages.
