Telecom Fiji to deliver advanced ICT solutions to Police

Telecom Fiji has partnered with the Fiji Police Force to strengthen ICT service capability for the Force, with a focus on cybersecurity, systems and data resiliency.

Telecom Fiji will deliver advanced and cutting-edge ICT solutions to the Fiji Police and provide end to end management of such services.

Acting Commissioner of Police Juki Fong Chew says in today's interconnected world, collaboration is key to combating crime effectively.

He says this partnership with Telecom signifies their commitment to leveraging technology and teamwork to minimize harm and enhance public safety.

Telecom Fiji CEO Charles Goundar says they are proud to continue their longstanding partnership with the Fiji Police Force.

He says with cyber threats on the rise, their combined efforts are more crucial than ever in safeguarding the community against digital dangers.

The Acting Commissioner emphasized the importance of continuous upskilling in cybersecurity, acknowledging the ever-evolving nature of cybercrime.

He says they must remain vigilant and foster partnerships to combat the increasing sophistication of cyber threats.
