Telecom Fiji Limited says they are proud to support Fiji Cancer Society as naming right sponsors of the Ambrose Golf tournament in October.

The Telecom Charity Ambrose Golf Tournament is expected to have full participation at the Suva Course, with 100 people turning out to enjoy the fundraising event.

Golf Tournament received $7,000 sponsorship from Telecom Fiji for the upcoming charity golf tournament.

Fiji Cancer Society CEO, Belinda Chan says partnerships such as this will boost the work they do in the cancer spectrum.

Chan says men’s health is just as important as the women and they are grateful to work with Telecom Fiji to raise awareness and funds for men diagnosed with cancer.

She adds they appreciate the support from Telecom Fiji and encourage everyone to join them as they raise funds for men’s health.

Telecom Fiji Manager Marketing, Berlinda Williams says as part of their corporate social responsibility to Fijians, the sponsorship emphasizes the company's commitment to the people.

Williams says they hope their sponsorship will greatly contribute to the outstanding work of Fiji Cancer Society in raising awareness and looking after those in need.

This tournament will be held at the Fiji Golf Club on Friday 21st October this year.
